I’m shy, until I get to know you, and I like my privacy, so this is very hard to write.

If you are here, then you must be a friend I have not yet met. Welcome to my site. My name is Maria, and KariMar Designs is my latest vision for my creative works. In the future I plan to add more of the different crafts I enjoy making besides jewelry. I know they say to stick to just one thing, but I can’t help it, if I love doing many different creative works. My creations are motivated by my feelings and inspirations at the time they are made.

I have always enjoyed making things and gifting them to family and friends. After hearing over and over, “you should be selling these” I decided to take that advice and see how it goes. So here I am inviting you to join me in this new creative adventure!

In the past I have won awards for Photography, and Holiday displays. In 2018 I wrote my first children’s book available on Amazon called A Spaceship Called Earth. I’m still waiting on the right idea for my next book. Maybe next year. I have also made handmade soaps and candles, memorial bears, custom cards and gift tags, had my own childrens clothing line, upholstery shop, made doggie outfits, custom photo books and worked on various other creative endeavors. Whew! Are you tired yet?
